The journey is more important than the destination. We want you to share this journey with us.

We're transparent. We give you the bigger picture to help you understand our decisions. Every Arbour has a story, makes an impact and has a cost.

Our fabric is custom made from GOTS certified organic cotton. This reduces our environmental footprint in the first stages of creating a garment. We source all our raw cotton from climates that allow for natural growing conditions. Abundant sunshine and little rain allow crops to thrive during the maturing period.

No pesticides or chemical fertilisers are used during the growth of organic cotton. Instead, farmers use a rich, natural compost, and the cotton is largely rain-fed. This means less irrigation and less strain on already water-scarce areas. Farming in this way is a labour of love.

When compared to conventional cotton growth, the differences are staggering. Chemicals used to farm this way have a tremendous negative effect on air, water and soil. These toxic substances also have a huge impact on health in cotton-growing areas. Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg. If you'd like to read more about this subject, we'll cover it in a future blog post.

Less than 1% of all cotton produced world-wide is organic.

Our manufacturing process proudly takes place in Istanbul, Turkey. Turkey are pioneers, growing and manufacturing organic cotton products for almost 30 years. And, we've established the majority of our supply chain in this country. This means more control, less travel and less carbon footprint.

The cotton arrives at our spinning house where it’s spun into yarn. This yarn is then knitted into Jersey cotton. With weight specifications of 190GSM, we allow for a superior mid-weight and softness.

Once completed, the fabric then undergoes a process called 'brushing'. The fabric is brushed on the face side to remove any lint and fibres. This leaves a soft, peachy face that helps to trap heat, but still allows breathability. This is not done as standard in the industry, but an extra step we’ve absorbed to maximise the quality and durability of our tees.

Over 2,000 chemicals are used in order to process conventional textiles – including nasty ones like mercury, formaldehyde and chlorine. Our beautiful fabric is dyed in bulk at our mill, without harmful chemicals or heavy metals.

We've partnered with factories who share our commitment to exceptional quality, high labour standards and fair wages. Our skilled technicians cut, stitch and finish your Arbour to the highest standard.

Worldwide, we are using approximately 500 billion single-use plastic bags per year.

We deliver sustainability and luxury through every facet of our collection. We’ve spent months on bespoke packaging that compliment and align with our values. All packaging is sourced in the UK, keeping our carbon footprint as minimal as possible.

We're one of the first to offer a unique tee shirt sleeve made from 100% recycled materials. Finished with foiling and non-harmful inks, the devil is in the detail.

Unlike conventional plastic poly mailers, ours are derived from sugarcane. Natural and renewable, this resource can be repurposed to create new products. This means we can fulfil our packaging requirements, whilst avoiding landfill waste. Not only are they carbon negative, but they're 100% recyclable too.  Saving the planet has never been so sweet.
